Countering Rising Online Violence Against women, WHRDs and Feminist Activists in western Uganda
The project is funded by the Australian Government and managed through the Department
of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) project aimed been at building capacity of young women, WHRDs and
trans persons and key stakeholders to encounter online violence/ sexual violence through providing
comprehensive digital and physical security and advocacy skills trainings for women to be able to
advocate against ICT facilitated GBV on local and national scale.
We will engage with key stakeholders and internet intermediary to develop action plans and implement policies to encounter online violence against women.
